2010 FALL SPORTS INFORMATION

CHANGE FOR BOYS' GOLF MEETING! - The mandatory meeting is now scheduled for Friday, August 20th at 9:00 a.m. at the OMS Theatre.  Please enter through the student drop off area.

Parent/Player/Coaches Meeting:  The meeting for JV and Varsity parents, players and coaches is scheduled for Tuesday, August 31st at 5:30 in the OHS Theatre.

See below for first day practice schedules. (Coaches will give the players the schedule for the rest of the week). **Girls' Varsity Swim/Dive times have changed-see below**

*Notes from coaches:  Football:  Make sure you bring a good lunch and water/sports drink - YOU WILL BE WORKING HARD!   Boys Varsity Soccer: Players need to have soccer gear and running shoes every day.  Girls' Modified Soccer: Starting from 9/8, practice will be from 3-5, M-F.  Girls are to report to the sport study hall in the cafeteria and will be picked up by the coaches for practice.  Boys Modified Soccer: First day will be on 9/8 (not 9/7) and will be just a meeting.  Students will be done in time to take the 3:15 late bus home.  Full practices will begin on Thursday, 9/9 from 2:30-4:15.  Girls Modified Swim:  First day will be on Thursday, 9/9.  Students should be prepared to swim - one piece swim suit, goggles, bathing cap, towel and plastic bag to put wet clothes in when finished. 

**IMPORTANT FOOTBALL INFORMATION** Below are the dates for football equipment pickup.  Make sure you have a current physical so you'll be eligible to play!

**PLEASE NOTE** - There is a date change for the start of Modified Football.  Please see the revised start dates below. 

All students interested in participating in sports must have a current physical on file with the school.  If the physical was done more than 30 days prior to the start of the sport (see dates below), an Interval Health History form also needs to be completed by the parents and handed in to the Athletic Office no later than two weeks prior to the start date, before the student can participate.  These forms cannot be handed to the coach on the first day of practice!  All of the physical forms are available to print from the link to the left titled, "Athletic Forms."  If you are not sure if your forms are up-to-date, please call the Athletic Office at 341-2019 to verify this information.
