Fitzhugh Park welcomes Amy Molloy as principal

June 22, 2022
Dear Oswego CSD Community,

I am writing to share that at last nights Board of Education meeting the Boards accepted my recommendation to appoint Ms. Amy Molloy as the new principal for Fitzhugh Park Elementary School.

Ms. Molloy is currently the grades 7-12 principal for Cato-Meridian Central School District. Prior to that she served as Director of Special Education and Middle School principal at Sandy Creek CSD and as an assistant principal for the Rome City School District at Rome Free Academy.

Ms. Molloy will begin her tenure at Fitzhugh Park on July 5. As we approach the fall season the district will be planning a future meet and greet for parents and community members.

We are extremely excited about this new appointment and look forward to Mrs. Molloy’s tenure in our district.

I also want to wish Donna Simmons, the longtime Fitzhugh Park principal, a wonderful retirement and all the best!

Yours In Education,
Dr. Mathis Calvin
Superintendent of Schools
