OMS recognizes 8th grade scholar-athletes

Oswego Middle School eighth graders recently earned recognition for participating in three or four interscholastic athletic programs while maintaining either honor or high honor roll status.

The following students were honored for their dedication and hard work: Kaelyn Bond, Alyssa Britt, Lily-Simone Cloonan, Nora Newell, Layla Wilson, Brenna Cazzoli, Reagan Healy, Kara Hsu, Brielle Libbey, Maria Murray, Isabella Oostdyk, Elizabeth Stahl, Sam Arthur, Luke Braun, Maddox Browngardt, Conner Canale, Julius Garabito, Cooper Howell, Wilson Metcalf, John Scanlon-Howland, Brody Gosier and Ethan Lamb.

Principal Mary Beth Fierro commended the students for their remarkable achievements. "At the Oswego Middle School, we recognize the hard work and commitment that goes into playing a sport each season of the school year while at the same time keeping up with schoolwork," she said. "Balancing academics and athletics is no small feat, and these young individuals have shown us all what it means to excel in multiple areas of life. We are incredibly proud of their accomplishments!"
