OCSD Students to Compete in Regional Spelling Bee

After finishing first in their school spelling competitions, two Oswego City School District students recently earned spots to compete in the final oral round of the Syracuse.com | Post-Standard Spelling Bee.
Sean Hosein, a Leighton Elementary sixth grader, and Jeremiah Wright, an eighth grader at Oswego Middle School, will be representing the Bucs at the regional level in late March at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University.
The winner of the regional bee will represent Central New York in the Scripps National Spelling Bee, set for May 25 through May 31 in Maryland.
